Charles Williams
Charles Williams is a Barrister and Solicitor at the Supreme Court of Justice in Nigeria and has been practising since 2010. His principal areas of practice are: Energy law, Commercial and financial law, Property law, Family Law and Environmental Law.
Charles Williams commenced his law studies at the London South Bank University and finished it at the University of Wolverhampton. He holds a Master’s Degree in International Commercial and Financial Law specialising in Oil and Gas and Project Finance Law. He also holds a degree in Sociology and Anthropology from the University of Lagos.
Charles Williams has considerable experience in negotiating commercial contracts, international loan syndication and international trade in agricultural produce. He is not only familiar with the commercial and financial law of African countries, he is also knowledgeable about the legal environment they operate in including the associated risks involved in trading in those jurisdictions.
Charles Williams is also involved in academic tutoring programs, financial management, marketing of educational programs, non-governmental organizations, research development, and other issues relating to creating a better world for present and future generations. He has a Postgraduate Diploma in Education and is an adjunct at the University of Aberdeen, Scotland. He frequently works as a legal consultant with several private Organisations.
Charles Williams is currently undertaking his Doctorate degree in Energy Law and writing academic papers.
